Steve looks back fondly on the local Emmy he won in 1982 for "Greetings from Graceland." In 1982, Graceland was a Mom & Pop operation with a tiki torch hooked up to a propane tank standing in for the eternal flame.
Laurence Holmes calls in to the DahlCast. Steve plays him the 888-GOB-HOMO voicemail of the angry Score caller. Then they talk about the positive aspects of downtown Detroit.
Buzz calls in for another episode of "Angelo's Ashes". It also gives him a chance to tell his only Walter Payton story. Steve reads some listener emails, including one from a guy that's probably just Ed pretending to be someone else.
"The local Emmy's are at the Park West and I can't go there. I did a lot of bad and funny things there."
"When I was at the Emmy's I got hammered not expecting to win. Even if I had I still would have got hammered."
"They don't have Devil's Night in Detroit any more because the entire city has already been burned down."
"Todd Stroger is Lester to John Daley's Willie Tyler"
"The new passport is too fake looking. It looks like a "Thinking About Becoming an American?!" brochure."
