The Personification Of Pizza

I wasn’t planning on coming back to Chicago until Wednesday night, so I sold my hockey tickets for the Dallas game on Tuesday. As it turns out, I haven’t missed that many home games because of the long road trip that the Blackhawks had to take in January. February has the Olympics, so it’s not the worst time to be away in FL (for a lot of reasons). I’m going to order a pizza and watch the game in HD on CSN. I guess I’m glad that I came back on Saturday night because I’m thinking that Wednesday might be a brutal travel day at ORD. These days, every day is a brutal travel day at ORD, thanks to that idiot Christmas underpants bomber in Detroit.

I shoveled the driveway this morning but as of 6:30 pm on Tuesday night I have officially given up, and I’m waiting for Mr. Plow. Actually, my guy is more like Senor Plow, if you know what I mean. Janet is off at her book club so it’s just the dogs, my pizza and me. I love pizza so much it’s like a person to me. LOL! I really shouldn’t be eating a pizza, but I’m craving one and I’m pretty sure that I’ll fit into my suit for Thursday’s Comcast SportsNet awards. I find its best to give into some cravings, it heads off a complete bursting of the dam at some point. Who am I kidding? The dam broke years ago. I’m like New Orleans without the beads.

I guess the snow will stop at some point. it's kind of pretty right now, but I'm sure it will turn ugly sooner than later. That's the worst thing about snow: When it first falls everything is soft and quiet and then it turns into frigid dark muck that is seemingly everywhere. It kind of goes from looking like cocaine to looking like black tar heroin. I wish the weathermen on TV would use more drug references, It might actually liven things up. Can you imagine a stoned Tommy Skilling mesmerizing himself with his own weather screen? Usually he's just mezmerizing old ladies and possible male "roommates" with all of those arrows and what have you, It would be fun to see him tripping on the tube. Brant Miller already seems like he is on something, I'm not sure what it is, however.
